The month-long UH Maui College Institute of Hawaiian Music (IHM) fund-raising campaign is now less than a week away from the first phase deadline of March 1. Recently, the Harold K.L. Many Hawaiian music fans around the world and local community members have generously supported this effort — for IHM student scholarships, and possible future endowed student scholarships.”
He added: “We need to continue our fund-raising in a big way and raise an additional $40,000 by March 1, 2012 for the first matching grant deadline, then another $100,000 by September 1 2012 for the total $200,000 matching grant. Mahalo to everybody who is joining this great effort for the Institute of Hawaiian Music!”
